7 June 1992 (for one night only) Nine – the Musical Performed at The Royal Festival Hall

 1992 Vaudeville Theatre, London. Eurovision although not a musical as such, it is actually comedy with songs (so this can fall into 3 categories, Musical, a play or comedy) and  based on the Eurovision Song Contest.

 16th July 2006 (for one night only) A Love Letter To Dan – Anita and Brian appeared as did 50 other artistes appear at the Novello Theatre to pay tribute to Dan Crawford founder and artistic designer of the Kings Head Theatre from 1970-2005

 Hello, Dolly! (Dolly) 2006 at Lincoln’s Theatre Royal for a limited period only in which Anita was highly praised by the critics

  2008 Hello, Dolly! (Dolly) UK Tour from 1st February-23rd August. This incredible journey saw Anita play Dolly 235 performances, including two weeks in Jersey, where she sang, dance and acted through every single performance NOT missing any show. Anita followed the greats who have played Dolly before her including Ginger Rogers, Pearl Bailey, Carol Channing, Ethel Merman, Dora Bryan believe it or not…Danny La Rue and who could forget Barbara Streisand in the movie version. So,

 2007 (Frau Von Luber) An Opera called The Silver Lake: A Winter’s Fairy-Tale (Der Silbersee) in 6 performances. This is  Opera is one of Kurt Weill’s (1900-1950) which was critically acclaimed – it had a 38-piece orchestra and was in three-acts, of Deception, Kindness and Betrayal to a libretto by Georg Kaiser and was performed in the grounds of  Johnson Castle for the World Famous Wexford Opera Festival in the South-East of Ireland.

 2015 (28 April) Stella Deames) in Stephen Sondheim’s Musical FOLLIES for two performances only at the RAH to celebrate Stephen Sondheim’s 85th birthday. Anita, brought the house down and won TWO STANDING OVATIONS for her performances. ‘When Anita Dobson brought the house down’-The Telegraph Critic AND more of the same from other critics too.

2016 (5 September – 28 January 2017) Anita is currently appearing as Madame Morrible in the hit musical “Wicked” at London’s Apollo Victoria Theatre!
